Your effective rate

Your effective rate is what taking payments costs you this month, after cashback.

On Cashback, the top panel shows:

  • Fees paid: fees on this monthโ€™s payments.
  • Cashback earned: cashback your cards earned this month.
  • Net cost: fees paid, less cashback earned.
  • Your effective rate: the net cost as a percentage of what you took in payments.

If your cards earn more cashback than your payments cost, the rate is below zero: overall, Tuppence is paying you.

Until the month closes, these figures are marked So far. The appโ€™s Home tab shows the same rate, with fees and cashback underneath.
