Let customers manage their subscriptions
The customer portal is a page in your business’s name where a customer sees and manages their subscriptions with you.
Getting a customer there
Section titled “Getting a customer there”Your website or app makes the link for a signed-in customer and sends them to it. Your developer sets this up. There’s no button for it in the dashboard yet. They can follow the customer portal in the developer docs.
A portal link works for one hour, for that customer only. After that, it says This link has expired and they need a new one from you.
What your customer can do
Section titled “What your customer can do”Your developer chooses which of these each link allows:
- Cancel subscription: it ends when the paid period ends. Until then, they can choose Keep my subscription to undo it.
- Change plan: before they choose Confirm change, they see what they’ll pay now or what comes off their next payment.
- Update card: they save a new card for future payments. A missed payment is retried on the new card straight away.
- Invoices: they download each invoice as a PDF.
