Edit your store's pages and look

Everything under Site is a draft. Shoppers see none of it until you publish, and then every page goes live together.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

  1. Choose Site. Open a page with Edit, or choose Add a page.
  2. Choose Add a block to add a section, such as products, a banner or reviews, and change it on its Content and Style tabs. Check it at computer and phone sizes.
  3. Your changes save to the draft as you go.
  • Brand kit: your colours, type, fonts, pictures, logo and the voice your store’s words are written in. Each colour pair is checked so text stays easy to read. Choose Save the brand kit.
  • Navigation: the links in your store’s header and footer. A link can open a page, a collection, a product or your booking page. Choose Save the menu.
  • Code: sections of your own, and a design file to download or import. Saving never publishes.
  1. Choose Publish. Add a note if you like, to remember what changed.
  2. Under When, choose Now and Publish now, or Later, a day and time, and Schedule. A schedule publishes the draft as it is at that moment; to stop it, choose Cancel the publish.

If something must be fixed first, To fix before publishing lists it, each with Fix it. A publish waits for:

  • a problem in a block, such as a missing link
  • a page that got slower to load on a phone because of this change
  • once you sell, the details the law says shoppers must see: your business name, address and email, approved policies, a way to deliver, and the words on your pay button
  • a sentence about a product that no fact on file backs up

Every publish is kept under Versions, with who made it. Choose Make live again on one, then Make it live. Shoppers see it straight away, and your draft isn’t touched.

In the page editor, describe what you want in Change the design and choose Preview it. If you like it, choose Review and approve, then approve it under Assistant. It goes live on its own, without the rest of your draft, and you can undo it from Changes.

Redirects sends an old address, such as a product from your previous store, on to a page that exists, in one step. Redirects work straight away: they aren’t part of your draft.

  • Addresses shoppers couldn’t find lists any address asked for three or more times in a day in the last 30 days, with a suggested page. Choose Redirect to accept it, or type where it should go.
  • Add a redirect takes an old address and a new one: a page on your site, like /products/mug, or a full https:// address.
  • Your redirects lists every redirect, who made it (your import, you, the assistant or a rename) and how often it’s used.

A redirect that would lead to another redirect goes straight to the last page instead, and one that would lead back to where it started is refused.

The Tuppence Assistant and AI agents can read your site, edit draft pages, your brand kit and menu, and publish, schedule or revert it. They can also list your redirects and the addresses shoppers couldn’t find, and propose a redirect. A publish or a redirect the assistant prepares waits for your approval. Deleting the site and changing its domains are never theirs to do.
