What customers see when they pay
When a customer opens one of your payment links, or scans its QR code, they see a secure pay page with Payments by Tuppence at the bottom. They need only a card, no account or app.
What’s on the page
Section titled “What’s on the page”- Your business. Your name, logo and colour, from Branding in Settings.
- The amount. A fixed amount, or an Amount box if the payer chooses. The box shows the smallest and largest they can pay.
- Their email. Email for your receipt (optional). For a link that starts a subscription, Your email address is required, and the page says when they’ll next be charged and that they can cancel by asking you.
- Continue (or Subscribe), then the card form and a button that says Pay and the amount.
If their bank wants to check it’s them, their banking app or a bank page opens before the payment completes.
After they pay
Section titled “After they pay”The page says Payment complete and You paid the amount to your business. If they gave their email, we send them a receipt. The payment appears in your Payments at once.
If the card is declined, the page says why and asks them to Try another card. Nothing is charged.
