Collect and publish product reviews

Choose Reviews. Reviews with words wait at most 48 hours, then publish by themselves.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

Ask buyers for a review

Under Review settings, turn on Ask buyers for a review after delivery and choose how many days after delivery to ask. Each order gets one request and one reminder a week later, with a way to unsubscribe. Choose Save settings.

To show only reviews from people who bought the product from you, turn on Publish only reviews from people who bought the product here.

If you offer something for writing a review, such as a discount, only customers who agreed to hear from you are asked, and each review says it received an offer.

Publish or reject a review

1. Under What shoppers said, choose Pending.
2. Choose Publish, or Reject… and pick which rule of your review policy it broke.
3. Add a note for the writer if you like. They’re told which rule.

A review can be rejected only for a rule in your published review policy: spam, abuse, someone’s personal details, something unlawful, a conflict of interest such as a member of staff, or not from a buyer. Being negative is never a reason.

Reply to a review

Choose Reply, write it and choose Save reply. It shows under the review as a reply from the shop. Each review has one reply, which you can change.

The review summary

Once a product has five published reviews, your store can show a short summary of what they say, each sentence drawn from at least two of them. Turn it on or off in the product reviews section of your pages, with Show the summary.

Agents and the assistant

The Tuppence Assistant and AI agents can list reviews, publish a pending one, reject one for a rule of your review policy and reply as your shop. The assistant shows each one for you to approve first. Neither suggests rejecting a review because it’s negative.
