How booking times are worked out
Your booking page offers a time only when all of these are true:
- Someone who does the service is working. They have hours on the rota that day, and the whole service, including its buffers, fits inside them.
- Your location is open. The time falls inside the location’s Opening hours. If the location has no opening hours set, only your team’s hours apply.
- Nothing else is in the way. No other booking, closure, time off, blocked time, break or busy time from a connected calendar overlaps it.
- The room or equipment is free, if the service needs one under What it needs.
- It’s not too soon or too far ahead. Your Booking policy sets how much notice you need and how many days ahead clients can book.
Times are spaced by the interval in your booking policy, for example every 15 minutes.
Things that make more times available
Section titled “Things that make more times available”- Processing time frees the person while the client waits, so they can be booked for someone else in that gap.
- If no one is ticked under a service’s Who does it, anyone active on your team can be booked for it.
Booking from the calendar
Section titled “Booking from the calendar”When you or your team book from the calendar, the notice and how-far-ahead limits don’t apply. You can book a client in for later today or months ahead. Other bookings, closures and rooms are still checked, so you can’t double-book anyone.
