Refund a till sale
You can’t refund or take a return on the till yet. Until then, how you give money back depends on how the customer paid.
Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.
Paid by Card by QR
Section titled “Paid by Card by QR”A Card by QR payment is a card payment in the dashboard. Open Payments, choose the payment and refund it there. See Refund a payment.
Paid in cash
Section titled “Paid in cash”Give the cash back from the drawer, then record it on the till as a Pay out with the reason so the cash-up balances. See Pay cash in or out of the drawer.
Paid another way
Section titled “Paid another way”For a sale recorded with Other, such as on another card machine, refund it the way it was paid.
