Set up bookings

Set up bookings takes you through everything clients need before they can book you. Each step saves as you go, so you can leave and pick up at the same step on any device.

It’s in the sidebar under Bookings once you’ve told us your business takes bookings. If you don’t see it, go to Settings, then Products, and switch Bookings on. If every product is on because you skipped choosing at sign-up, switch off the ones you don’t use. See the sidebar.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

  1. Choose Set up bookings in the sidebar.
  2. What do you do? Search the business types or pick the closest tile. It fills in services, opening hours, a policy and reminders. See Business type templates.
  3. Your services. Change any name, length (Minutes) or price in place. It saves when you leave the box. Use Add a service for anything missing and Remove for anything you don’t do. Choose Next: who works here.
  4. Who works here. If it’s only you, enter Your name and choose Just me, next. For a team, choose There’s a team: add people, then add each person with Their name and, optionally, Their email (optional) to invite them. Choose Next: where and when.
  5. Where and when. Under Where, choose Clients come to me, I go to clients or Online. Add your address and Phone, set When you’re open, then choose Save and finish the basics.
  6. Your policy. Choose a Deposit when they book, how long clients are Free to cancel, and the fee After that, or if they don’t come. The box at the top shows the wording clients see. Choose Next: your page.
  7. Your page. Check Your business’s name, as clients see it and the Page address. Add a Cover photo, a Colour and a few lines About you. Choose Next: share it.
  8. Share. Choose Publish my page. Copy Your page’s link and follow the suggestions under Where your clients already are.
  9. Choose Done, go to Home.

To go back a step, choose the ← Back to link under the step.

To keep what your business type’s template filled in, choose the step’s Next button without changing anything. You need at least one service to leave Your services, and at least one person to leave Who works here.

Once your page is live, Home shows a short checklist of what helps most next:

  • Take real payments: go live, so your page can take deposits and card payments.
  • Your first booking: example and imported bookings don’t count.
  • Reminders on
  • Invite your team
  • Connect a calendar
  • A second channel: share your page somewhere other than its link.

Each item links straight to the right page.
