Send an onboarding link

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin, manager or developer to do this.

1. Open Connected accounts and choose the account.
2. Choose Onboarding link. For a verified account, the button is Update link, which lets the business change its details.
3. Choose Copy link.
4. Send it to the business, and only to them.
5. Choose Done.

The link is short-lived

For the next five minutes, anyone with the link can onboard as the business. It works once and is shown only now. If it expires, make a new one.

Follow its progress

The account’s page shows its status: Onboarding not finished, Action needed, Being verified, Verified, Restricted or Rejected. What Stripe still needs lists anything outstanding and the date it’s needed by, after which payments stop. Payments and Payouts show On once Stripe allows them.
