Sell a subscription with a payment link

A payment link can sell a plan instead of a one-off amount. Your customer enters their email address and pays the first period. Their card is saved and charged each period after that. They don’t need an account with you.

1. Open Payment links and choose Create link.
2. Enter a Name, such as “Monthly coffee club”.
3. In What paying it does, choose Starts a subscription.
4. Choose the Plan. The plan sets the price, so there’s no amount to enter.
5. Choose Create link.
6. Choose Copy link and send it to your customer, or share it anywhere.

When someone pays, their subscription appears on the Subscriptions page.

Plans with a free trial

A plan with a free trial can’t be sold from a link yet. Paying the first period saves the card, and a trial has nothing to pay. Start those subscriptions from the Subscriptions page instead.
