Give a discount at the till

Discount the whole sale

1. Ring up the sale first.
2. In the sale, tap Order discount.
3. Tap a named discount, or tap Type one.
4. If you’re typing one, choose Percentage or Amount, and enter how much.
5. Enter a Reason if asked, such as a regular.
6. Tap Apply.

Discount one item

1. In the sale, tap the item.
2. Tap Add a discount.
3. Choose or type the discount, as above, and tap Apply.

A discount tile in your layout applies its discount to the sale or the last item, depending on the discount.

To take a discount off, tap Remove beside it.

When the till asks for a manager’s PIN

A discount above your own limit, or above what the discount allows without approval, opens Manager’s PIN. Ask a manager to enter theirs. It must be someone other than the person selling, and their limit must cover the discount.
