Set commission for your team

Tuppence works out what each person has earned. You pay them yourself.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

1. Choose Staff in the sidebar and open the person.
2. Under Commission, choose Set commission.
3. Enter the Rate (%): a share of their service revenue, before tips.
4. Choose From: this month or a later one.
5. For a higher rate in a busy month, choose Add a tier. Enter the monthly revenue it starts Above (£$€) and the Rate above it (%).
6. For a service with its own rate, choose Add a service’s rate, then choose the Service and enter Its rate (%).
7. Choose Save commission.

How tiers work

Tiers work like tax bands: the higher rate applies only to the month’s revenue above the amount. A service with its own rate always uses that rate.

Changing a rate

A new rule starts from the month you choose. Past months keep their rules, so past reports never change. To stop someone’s commission, set a new rule at 0%. You can’t edit or delete rules.
