Add sizes and variants

Use options when a product comes in different versions, such as a small and a large coffee. Each combination of options is a variant. For extras, such as a syrup, use modifiers instead.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin, manager or developer to do this.

Add options

1. Choose Products, then the product.
2. Under Options and variants, choose Add an option.
3. Name the option, for example Size.
4. Enter its values, for example Small, Large.
5. Choose Save options.

Every combination appears as a variant under Variants.

Give a variant its own price

1. Under Variants, enter the variant’s price, SKU or barcodes. Leave the price empty to use the product’s price.
2. Choose Save variants.

At the till

When someone taps a product with variants, the till asks Which one?. You can’t charge a sale until every product in it has a variant chosen.
