Pack and send store orders
Every paid store order waits under To pack until it is on its way, the most urgent first.
Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.
Pack an order
Section titled “Pack an order”- Choose Orders, then the To pack tab, and open the order.
- Scan each item’s barcode, or type it. A wrong item is refused straight away, saying what the order wants. For an item with no barcode, tick it by hand.
- Choose the box and, if you weighed it, type the weight in grams. Choose Save.
Buy the label and send it
Section titled “Buy the label and send it”- Choose Buy label. The price is the carrier’s for that parcel today. If it costs more than the product weights suggested, you’re asked to confirm it first.
- Choose Print label, and stick it on the parcel.
- Choose Mark shipped. The shopper is told it’s on its way, and the carrier’s tracking moves the order on until it’s delivered.
Posted it yourself at the Post Office? Under Posted it yourself?, type the tracking number from the receipt and choose Mark shipped. Its tracking moves the order on in the same way.
Buy several labels at once
Section titled “Buy several labels at once”On To pack, tick the orders and choose Buy labels. Each is bought for its order’s delivery service at today’s price; an order not packed yet is packed as it is, in your default box.
Agents and the assistant
Section titled “Agents and the assistant”The Tuppence Assistant and AI agents connected over MCP can read what’s to pack, buy a label and mark an order shipped. A label spends money, so you approve each one the assistant proposes. They can also cancel a label that hasn’t been used, which refunds one paid from your balance; close the day, which makes the list a carrier needs to scan your parcels at collection; and book a carrier to collect.
