Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your business

Tuppence supports MCP, the standard way AI assistants use other services. Once connected, an assistant can make payment links and payments, check what has been paid, give refunds, read your balance, and find times and make bookings.

It acts with a key you create and can do only what that key allows. Give it a restricted key with only what it needs.

Before you start

  • Claude Code, on the computer where you'll use it.
  • You need to be an owner, admin or developer.

Claude Code Works: follow the steps below.
Claude in a browser or the Claude desktop app Not yet
ChatGPT Not yet

Claude in a browser and ChatGPT need a sign-in step that Tuppence doesn’t offer yet. We’ll add their steps here when it does.

  1. In the dashboard, choose Developers, then API keys.
  2. Choose Create key.
  3. Give it a Name that says where it’s used, such as “Claude on my laptop”.
  4. Choose Restricted: only what you choose.
  5. Pick what it can do. MCP agent: links + read payments is a good start. It can make payment links and view payments, but can’t refund or move money.
  6. Choose Create, then Copy key. It isn’t shown again.

Test-mode keys only touch test data. Start with one to see how the assistant behaves.

  1. At the bottom of API keys, choose Copy Claude Code command.
  2. Paste it into a terminal, and replace YOUR_KEY with the key you copied.
  3. Run it, then start Claude Code and ask it something, such as “What did I take this week?”
  • Anything outside the key’s scopes. Without refunds, it can’t refund.
  • Change your bank details, your team or your keys.

Every request it makes appears in Developers, then Logs. For other assistants and the full list of tools, see MCP in the developer docs.
