Add and edit services

A service is something clients book, such as a cut, a groom or a consultation. Each has its own length and price, and can have options, add-ons and the people who do it.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin, manager or developer to do this.

  1. Choose Services in the sidebar, then New service.
  2. Enter the Service name and the Duration (minutes), in steps of 5.
  3. Enter the Price (GBP), or leave it empty for a price on request.
  4. Choose a Category, or leave No category.
  5. Choose Create service. The service’s own page opens, where you can add the rest.

Choose the service’s name on Services to open its page. Under The service you can change:

  • Service name, Category and Description. Clients see the description on your booking page.
  • Duration (minutes).
  • Pricing: A fixed price, From a price (the final price is agreed on the day), By option (each option has its own price), By staff member (each person has their own price), On request (no price shown) or Free.
  • Colour: how the service shows on the calendar.
  • Who it’s for: the client, a pet, a child, a vehicle, or someone or something else. For a pet, you can ask when it was last vaccinated. For a child, you can set which ages it’s for.
  • First visit only or Returning clients only, to offer it only to new or regular clients.

Choose Save service when you’re done. A fixed or “from” price needs an amount.

You can add a Picture (PNG or JPEG) that clients see on your booking page.

Untick Bookable online and choose Save service. Your team can still book it from the calendar, but clients can’t. On Services, it shows Not online.

At the bottom of the service’s page, under Archive this service, choose Archive service. It’s no longer offered, but existing bookings keep it.
