Switch between or add businesses

One login can belong to several businesses: your own, and any you’ve been invited to. Each business has its own payments, team, settings, and test and live modes.

1. At the top of the sidebar, choose your business’s name.
2. Under Accounts, choose the business you want.

You stay in the same mode (test or live) if the other business has it.

iPhone and iPad

1. Tap Account.
2. Under Business, tap the business you want.

If that business isn’t live yet, the app shows its test mode.

Add a business

Add a new business in the dashboard. It starts in test mode, with you as its owner.

1. At the top of the sidebar, choose your business’s name, then New account.
2. Under Tell us about your business, enter the Business name.
3. Choose the Country where it’s registered. This sets its currency.
4. Choose a Business type, or Decide later.
5. Choose Continue, tick how the business will use Tuppence (or choose Skip for now), and choose Create business. The new business opens in test mode.

Choose the country and type carefully

You can’t change a business’s country later, because it fixes the currency. Choose the right Business type too. A company has extra steps when it goes live, and you can’t switch type later.

You can’t add a business in the app yet. Use the dashboard.
