Tuppence doesn’t connect to card readers yet. We’ll list the supported readers here when it does.

Tap to Pay on iPhone
Section titled “Tap to Pay on iPhone”Taking contactless cards on the iPhone itself isn’t available yet. When it is, we’ll list the phones and versions it needs here.
Taking cards at the till today
Section titled “Taking cards at the till today”- Card by QR. Choose Charge, then Card by QR, then Show the QR for the amount. Your customer scans it with their phone’s camera and pays on their phone. The till shows Waiting for the payment and moves on when it goes through. If the card is declined, show a new QR or choose Take cash instead.
- A card machine you already have. Take the card on that machine. Then choose Charge, Other, Another card machine and the record button, such as Record £12.50$12.50€12.50 as paid. This keeps your till, shift and reports right. Your card machine’s provider pays out the money, not Tuppence.
