Arrange the till layout

A layout is the set of tiles a register shows: pages of products, categories and discounts. A register without one shows a default grid built from your categories.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin, manager or developer to do this.

Make a layout

1. Choose Products, then the Layouts tab.
2. Choose New layout.
3. Enter a Name.
4. To start with a page for each category, leave Fill it from my shelves ticked.
5. Choose Make the layout.

Arrange it

Choose Edit beside the layout. Then:

• Add a page to add a page, and rename it in Page name.
• Add a tile, choose What it is (A product, A shelf or A discount) and Which, then Add the tile.
• Choose a tile to change its Size and Colour, or to Move earlier, Move later or Remove the tile.
• Switch the Preview between Phone and Tablet to see how it fits.

Choose Save the layout when you’re done.

Action tiles

You can add An action tile, such as No sale or Pay in, but the till doesn’t show them yet. Use the till’s menu instead for now.

Give a register its layout

1. Choose Registers, then the register.
2. Choose the layout under Layout.
3. Choose Save the register.

To change a tile’s colour, emoji or picture in every layout, use On the till in the product’s editor.
