Sell on Google

Google shows your products in its free listings, and in local listings for shoppers near your shops. Shoppers check out on your store. Google charges nothing, and neither does Tuppence.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner or admin to do this.

  1. Choose Store, then Channels.
  2. On the Google card, choose Connect Google. Sign in to Google and accept its terms there: only you can, in Google’s own screens.
  3. You’re brought back to Channels. If something is in the way, such as a store that isn’t published yet, the card says what, with a link straight to it.

Channels list your live store only. In test mode you can connect Google’s test account instead.

Your published products go to Google with their prices, stock and photos. A price or stock change, a till sale included, reaches Google within a minute or two. Every night Tuppence checks Google has everything and sends again whatever it is missing.

Open Google on the Channels page. Products Google turned down are grouped by what’s wrong, in plain words, each group with one Fix it link. A barcode, for example, takes you straight to the product’s barcode field. Once you save, the product goes to Google again.

To keep a product off Google, turn off its switch on the same page. It stays on your store.

Choose Performance on the Channels page for each channel’s orders, sales and refunds, and how often Google showed and shoppers clicked your products.
