Create a plan

A plan is what a customer subscribes to. You need one before you can start a subscription.

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

1. Open Subscriptions.
2. Under Plans, choose Create plan. If you have no plans yet, you can also choose Create a plan in the middle of the page.
3. Enter a Name your customers will recognise, such as “Box of the month”.
4. Enter the Amount, for example 12.50.
5. In Repeats, choose Every week, Every month or Every year.
6. For a free trial, enter the number of days in Free trial (days). Leave it empty for no trial.
7. Choose Create plan.

The plan appears in the Plans list with the status Active.

Check the price before you create it

You can’t change a plan’s price or how often it repeats later. To charge a different price, create another plan.

If you offer bookings, you can also include visits, which turns the plan into a membership. See Set up a membership.
