Require approval for large purchases

Who can do this: You need to be an owner, admin or manager to do this.

1. Open Cards and find Spending rules.
2. Choose Edit beside the rules the agent uses, or New rules.
3. Enter the amount in A person approves purchases of (£$€) or more.
4. Choose Save rules or Create rules.

What happens next

When an agent tries to spend that much or more, the card declines it and asks for approval. Your owners and admins are told, and the request waits on the Cards page and in the app’s Approvals tab. They have 24 hours to decide.

Once approved, the agent tries again and that one purchase goes through at that merchant within 30 minutes. See Approve or decline a purchase.
