A customer display
A customer display faces the person paying. It shows what the till rings up as it happens and asks for a tip when the register does. It is paired to one register. Its token can read that register’s display and answer the tip prompt, but can never sell, refund or see another order.
| The till does | The display shows |
|---|---|
| Nothing yet | Your logo and a welcome |
| Rings something up | The line within a second, and the total in the largest text on screen |
| Takes a card by QR | The QR code to pay on the customer’s own phone |
| Asks for a tip (the register’s Tipping settings) | Your presets with the amount each comes to, Another amount if you allow it, and No tip. The choice goes straight onto the payment |
| Finishes the sale | Thank you! and a QR code for the receipt |
It uses your branding (Settings → Branding): logo, display name and accent colour. The colour is darkened or lightened where needed to stay readable on a light or dark screen.
